MAX : NOW IN FOSTER

IN FOSTER

Introducing Max

Location Essex

Please do read all the following information fully before applying, thank you

Max is in need of an urgent foster home ,as work commitments have meant he is being left for long periods per day.

This has resulted in him getting up to mischief, as he so needs human interaction ,more exercise and stimulation.

He has been licking his paws whilst on the human sofa/and human beds making the furniture damp.

This could well be because he is bored, anxious or may even have an allergy.

His diet will need changing, as we believe as a charity this also could be a factor in his behaviour.

At night if he hears the foxes he will bark, this has resulted in the family not getting some sleep at night.

The family have decided this is all too much to deal with ,and would like to rehome Max as soon as possible.

Max is an adorable boy just needs the attention he so requires.

He has never been aggressive we have been informed.

Only fit and active people should apply as Max is an active and energetic dog

Max does pull on his lead, would need sone loose lead training

General Information

Max is a lively, energetic ball of fluff,he needs some training, but most of all company.

He has been left for long periods on his own ,and this has resulted in some unwanted behaviour including being anxious and not settling.

He has scratched a leather chair and marked sofa/beds covers from licking his paws.

This could well be because he is lonely, bored,May have or all the following.

He is an affectionate dog, will come and sit next to you when he wants attention.

Max is probably lacking the attention he so needs, and needs more fuss and stimulation along with some down time to chill.

He is toilet trained, but we state with any dog entering a new environment please allow for any accidents

He used to sleep in the kitchen ,but could see and hear foxes which started him barking.

So now he sleeps at the top of the landing in his bed.

Whilst in foster, the fosters may have to be with him at night to settle him the first few nights.

He is left alone for periods of time ,we as a charity do not want Max left longer than 2 to 3 hours per day. This is where is problems might be ,as left to long without company.

His diet is Pedigree dog food ,whilst in foster we will change his diet slowly as this may be the cause of licking his paws.

He is not crate trained

Travels well in the car on the back seat in a dog safety belt.

Loves the water and playing fetch

We cannot stress enough this chap just needs time, some training, and reassurance from his fosters.

If you live in rented accommodation we will need written consent that a dog can live within this property.

All potential fosters will be subjected to our full vetting process and a homecheck

Doodle Aid will support Fosters fully, expenses will need to be discussed before going forward and we always ask for regular updates.

Thank you
