INTRODUCING BOBBY
LOOKING FOR A FOSTER WITH A VIEW TO ADOPT (NOTE WE WILL CONSIDER A STRAIGHT ADOPTION )
Location Wiltshire the potential applicant will need to be prepared to travel for as many meets and greets as required.
Bobby is looking for a a new home ,as circumstances have changed within his family home.
This young doodle enjoys human company and because of work commitments ,other family members are not be able to look after him whilst others are at work.Bobby does not cope well being left alone and suffers with separation anxiety,especially when his human Mummy is not around ,as he adores her.
This has been a very hard decision for Bobby’s owners ,but they feel he is not getting all the attention and exercise he so deserves.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION
Bobby needs people at home with him,does not manage well being home alone long periods of time.
He has shown signs of separation anxiety,and this is something that he needs help with managing.Careful understanding and patience going forward.
If in foster Doodle Aid is happy to provide support with a qualified Dog Specialist.
We will consider rehoming Bobby in a home with another dog
No cats
Can live with children aged 10 plus ( Bobby is very good with children ,we feel this age restriction would be best suited for all involved)
Garden must be secure ,fences and walls must be at least 5 foot,a lock must be on any gates.
If you have any day trips or holidays planned please state on your application form.

Health info After Bobby was neutered,he got stressed when the vet tried removing his sutures ,he growled and the vet recommended using a muzzle to removed them.
This has been the only time Bobby showed this behaviour at the vets.
Bobby has no known allergies
Grooming Requirements
Bobby has a straight to wavy coat,only sheds minimally as all dogs do shed some amount.
He is happy to be brushed and combed through at home.
Attends a Professional Groomers every 3 months approximately.
Bobby is very good at the groomers ,there has been no issues with being groomed.
Exercise
Bobby is walked once a day ,this is due to work commitments.We do recommend he would benefit with more exercise going forward.
His recall is good,as a responsible charity we do not allow foster dogs off lead unless a private dog paddock is hired.
If a straight adoption we do not recommend off lead also,unless you have 100% trust in one another.
Bobby may pull on his lead on some occasions,a bit of loose lead training might be a good investment.
He interacts well with other dogs whilst out and about.
General Information
Bobby is the most affectionate little chap,he loves attention,he makes a great lap dog.
He can get excited and get giddy and bounce around.
His general obedience is good ,could always do with some further training good bonding experience for all parties involved.
Bobby has never bitten or shown any untoward behaviour to other dogs or humans.
He is a nervous/anxious dog and does not cope well being on his own any long periods of time.
With visitors or with strangers he may bark ,but will soon settles down.
Bobby has been well socialised ,and we like this to continue with throughout his life please.
Bobby has had a few accidents in his home regarding his toileting,if you do not get to let him out quick enough ,he may toilet on the floor by the door.
This might be something that will need addressing,back to basic potty training until this is resolved.
More exercise ,more company,a different environment this may not occur ,but we cannot promise this,but we needed to state this information
Bobby sleeps in his bed at night (as a new foster or a new adopted dog,we highly recommend that you allow him to be with you at night as he is a anxious boy)
Bobby is not crate trained
He has been destructive in the home,but this is more than likely due to being left long periods,he coping mechanisms kicked in by being destructive.
He travels well in the car,restrained on a safety harness
Bobby has never really been in the water,so unsure if he can swim
Dislikes being alone
He loves his tug toys,and human company
Bobby is a super friendly boy,just needs company and persons to understand his anxious behaviour and work with him on his separation anxiety.
He truly will make a great companion in the right environment with his special people.
All homes potential homes will be subjected to a full vetting process and a full homecheck
If you live in rented accommodation ,we will require documentation that a dog can live in this property
Doodle Aid will supply all Bobby needs whilst in foster care as long as the Fosters contact us firstly.
We will support both Bobby and his fosters whilst in their care,but you must communicate with us fully when required.
Fosters will always have the first choice to go forward to adopt the dog in their care
If a straight adoption the adoption fee is £280.00 this goes back into the charity
