Grace does not pull on her lead, but if she hears a loud noise ,such as a bang or firework her owner states she will pull then

Grace interacts with other dogs fine is friendly , she doesn’t tend to approach many dogs but if she does she always sniffs them first

General Information

Grace is your typical high energy, fun loving, bouncy and affectionate girl

Behaviour:- Grace will steal human food if she has the opportunity. She will bark if someone rings the doorbell. She won’t go to the toilet in the garden at night, owners have to put a puppy pad down by the back door during the night since we’ve moved house even though she is toilet trained. We’ve never understood why she’s never done this. But it does take her a while to use someone else’s garden to toilet in, she’s never gone to the toilet in my mum and dad’s garden!

Doodle Aid believes the move of house ,could have had an effect on her behaviour ,plus lots of wildlife visits the garden at night like resident foxes

Diet :- After her bout of colitis she is kept on the same diet if Harringtons grain free

Treats :- Only has bonios and misfit chews but only the light blue packet! These are the only two treats owners have found don’t effect her tummy

Grace sleeps downstairs at night (whilst settling in her new home, her new owners might like to stay with her the first few nights)

Can be left alone a few hours per day,but not long periods as she likes to be near her humans for company

Grace is not crate trained

Travels well in the car

Not known if she can swim, but likes to paddle with her paws

Dislikes like fireworks if out walking

She won’t let people stroke her whilst out walking, she moves out the way of their hand

Favourite things her cuddly toys and to play fetch with her ball

Note from Grace’s owner

Can be quite a nervous around new people. She can be wary of them at first where she will not go near them or she will not let them touch her (not aggressive manner) but she does prefer women

Not to rehomed to a male only household

Doodle Aid will support all foster homes ,supply basic needs for Grace, cover vet fees whilst in foster, groomers, food and if anything else is required please let us know first
