Brewster is now looking for his forever home after being in foster care for approximately 8 weeks plus.
The foster family has been working along side very experienced Dog Trainer ,who has been giving support to the family, which has helped immensely.
We love his new family to continue with where things left off please.
Brewster came to Doodle Aid with separation anxiety issues, the fosters have slowly been working on management.
He can now be left for a short period of time ,but this will still need management going forward.
With many thanks to his foster family for their support.
Doodle Aid and this lovely Dog Trainer are happy to continue to support Brewster
This is our fab Dog Trainer ,we have been using cannot rate her enough

Key points we require in Brewster’s forever home
Doodle Aid does advise not using a slip lead as the dog has on in the photos
Note: slip collars should never be used on puppies
If a slip collar is used incorrectly they can cause serious injury, including:
whiplash
choking
gagging
damage to the dog’s trachea (windpipe)
Person/persons to be at home with him not passed around to friends, family, dog day care etc.
No showboating the first week, let him settle in your home, with the family that live in your home.
Getting him get used to the environment that is now his home, this is so important.
Let Brewster slowly adapt to his new surroundings, exploring his home and own garden.
Please do not put him in situations too quickly, start slowly introducing various socials aspects to him gradually.
No rescue dog should be forced into situations they are not used to being in ,as this could set back any unwanted behaviour going forward.
Slowly,slowly please.
Brewster does not like sleeping on his own to start with ,so please be aware he might need your reassurance to be close by at night.
To be the only dog in the household
An active home is required as he is an energetic boy
Can live with older children only aged 10 plus
No cats never lived with cats
Secure garden with a lock on the gate
If you have a holiday planned please state on your application form
If you live in rented accommodation,we will require documentation that a dog can live in this property.

Brewster has two walks per day.
His recall is good,we advise no new owners should let any rescue dogs off lead ,until they have complete trust with one another.
Brewster may pull on his lead on occasion, loose lead training should be continued.
Whilst out on walks Brewster interacts with dogs very well,he seems to pick up on dogs that dog not want his presence. If a dog warns him off,he will just move long and carry on with his walk.
He would benefit with some activities such as agility or scent work.
Further Information
Brewster is still only a young dog will need reassurance, some training but most of all people willing to help continue his management with his separation issues.
Whoever is lucky enough to become his owners will need to be energetic as Sproodles are a very active crossbreed.
He is a sweet happy young dog,who loves human attention, and loves his cuddles
This boy has a lovely temperament ,just loves to please and be with you.
Loves to learn ,& he picks up commands very quickly can sit, down, leave, stay, give paw and go to bed.
He is the ideal sample for someone who loves to do training with a dog,and great bonding for all involved.
Brewster is toilet trained, but with any dog entering a new and strange environment accidents may occur
He has been crate trained and will sleep in his crate.
First few night you may have to sleep beside him ,in the same room, just to reassure him it’s all ok.
Can only be left alone short periods of time, this is something that needs careful training going forward.(Note progress is coming along nicely, but you will need to continue)

Car Travel ,Brewster gets over excited when going to travel in a vehicle ,this is something that will need to be addressed ,with some careful training.
