Monty

Monty came to DoodleAids attention when he was advertised on a selling site, DoodleMaina and Doodles Do Splashes and Dashes group members came together to for a rescue mission to collect him and deliver him safely to his foster home. DoodleAid set about an emergency fund raiser for Monty, raising in excess of £600 in a matter of hours!

Once Monty had been assessed and neutered we put him up for rehoming and Sam and his family came along to offer the perfect forever home and a new brother Jake the Terrier.

Here’s what Sam had to say,

‘We lost our boy Tyler last September and he left a huge hole in our lives – Monty’s little face popped up on Facebook and we all fell in love with him! We were home checked and got to meet the lovely Bex and her dog Perci, we then to wait for the news we were successful. We went to meet Monty in his foster home, his foster mum was kind and welcoming. Monty and Jake made friends by running around in her back garden. They got on so well at their first meeting and we got to ask lots of questions about Monty. She explained how Monty was rescued and how everyone came together to help and raise money for his care and we will be forever grateful to everyone.

The whole DoodleAid Team have been fantastic – we have felt supported through the whole adoption, We also had a visit from Sarah and her lovely two dogs to see how Monty was settling in.’
