Introducing Handsome Bearnard

Please do read this advert very carefully before applying,if you do not meet his criteria,do not apply ,thank you

Bearnard is located in Derbyshire Post Code DE56.

We will expect the potential applicant ,to be available to travel for as many meets and greets as required.

NOTE WE WILL NOT REHOME BEARNARD WITH BABIES OR YOUNG CHILDREN.

IF YOU HAVE VISITING BABIES OR CHILDREN,OR ARE PLANNING A FAMILY IN THE FUTURE THIS IS NOT THE DOG FOR YOU,SORRY.

Bearnard is looking for a new home due to living in a busy environment ,which he is now finding it very hard to adapt too.

When he was purchased there were older children in his home ,who he coped with, but recently there have been two new arrivals,a toddler and a new born.

Sadly Bearnard and the toddler cannot be left together,as he likes the toddlers toys and the toddler wants the toys.

This has become an issues for all concerned,as neither child or doodle mix well.

His owner has decided after an incident to rehome him,Bearnard was having a filled kong ,and toddler thought they might like the kong as well. This resulted in Bearnard growling and nipping the toddlers finger,no blood was drawn only a small mark.

Bearnard has been to training after the incident, but his owners now feel this is not the home for him with two tiny children.

We advise no long lasting treats,or raw bones for Bearnard ,as he tends to resource guard these items.

Must be very difficult to keep an eye on Bearnard, and all the children in their home, and they must put everyone’s needs first.

General Information

Bearnard is a lovely boy ,he was the baby in the household at one stage ,and now he cannot understand why he isn’t getting most of the attention anymore.

His behaviour changed when the babies came along and it’s hard for the family to juggle their time between everyone.

Their home is a busy place and Bearnard needs the attention ,and a quiet space to live and be happier.

He is affectionate ,cuddly, loving but lively, does not settle at present ,too much going on in the home.

He diet consists of Pooch and Mutt, twice a day

No long lasting treats ,just treats that can be digested quickly

He is toilet trained, but we do say any dog can mark whilst settling in a new home

Bearnard is crate trained and sleeps in his crate at night

Never been destructive in his home

Can be left alone,as a responsible charity ,we advise no longer than a few hours per day

With car travel he pants for a while ,but not travel sick

Dislikes swimming

Likes to play with his ball and fetch

Bearnard is truly loved by his owners, but the situation with the chikdren has become too much for all to manage.

They want the best for Bearnard and their children, and we will do our upmost to help find Bearnard the home he requires.

All potential applicants will be required to have a full vetting and a homecheck
