Mango : Now adopted
Mango is looking for a Foster home with a view to adopt
Please read the following information fully, before applying
Location Rye in East Sussex ,we will request several meet and greets
Mango’s owners have come to a heartbreaking decision to rehome her,due to relocating which is out of their control.
These commitments cannot be changed ,they need to rehome Mango ASAP ,into a great foster home.
Mango is a fabulous Goldendoodle coming up to three years old.
She has a fear of street walking ,where there is busy traffic noise ,will stop and not progress.Fine away from traffic and busy noise area’s.
We suggest her potential Fosters take her in the car to quiet areas or beach walks if nearby.
Doodle Aid of course if needed by her Fosters, will be happy to supply a qualified behaviourist for support this to be discussed further.
Mango is scared of wheelie bins ,not sure if this could have been the start of her fearfulness on roads.
Noise of wheelie bins being dragged about or knocked over in the wind, combined with sound of refuse trucks.(Who knows what goes on sometimes inside dogs minds)
Fosters to be committed in helping Mango manage her fear of roads, with support of a behaviourist if requested.

Mango has a beautiful curly coat, sheds minimally as all dogs shed some amount.
She likes to be brushed and her owners carry this out daily to prevent matting.
Mango attends a Proffesional Groomers every 6 weeks, she is very well groomed and looked after by her owners.
Exercise
Mango is walked one hour every day away ,from busy streets/roads etc quiet areas.
Her owners live nearby to the beach,Mango loves the beach and she let off lead here,as it’s safe for her no traffic or street noise.
We do not allow our Fosters to let any foster dogs off lead unless they can hire dog a paddock occasionally (Doodle Aid is happy to pay the costs ,can be discussed with fosters further)
Mango’s recall is hit and miss, she also will pull on her lead occasionally .
This is something that can be managed with training going forward.
Whilst out Mango interacts with dogs well ,likes to meet and greet most of the time.
