Honey : Now adopted
Please read this advert for Honey fully before applying
Location Chatham in Kent ,ME4 Postcode area
The potential applicant will be required to travel to do several meet and greets, before an adoption takes place.
Honey has been in a marvellous foster home for many weeks ,here she has been assessed by her foster parents along with some training by them.
They have kindly taken her to the vet, for a full health check ,as a responsible charity we like to have all foster dogs checked over on arrival.
Her Foster parents have also taken Honey for a groom, she was a very good girl at the groomers.
Now is the time for Honey to find her forever home,so we are putting her up for adoption.
Her foster family have found Honey to be a pure delight ,a lively affectionate dog,and would make the right person or persons very happy.
The only negative which can easily be resolved is her recall ,time patience lots of practice in a safe environment ,we are sure she will become much better.
We do not recommend letting Honey off her lead unless you can hire a safe secure field/paddock and work on her recall.
This note was from her original owner
Honey must not be be given food around other dogs ,this includes treats as she can be food aggressive around other dogs.
Dislikes small babies the noise of crying etc she gets worried and wants to hide.
Honey needs to be the ONLY DOG a in the home
Children over the age of 10 only (who are dog savvy) no visiting babies or small children it unnerves her.
Does not live with a cat ,has been to a visitors house with cats will chase them
No full time workers,Honey thrives on human company and needs to be secure and settled with people around her.
We are looking for a home where people are at home ,not passed around to family, friends and doggy day care.
A rescue dog needs their adoptive family at home with them to settle them into their daily lives.
A safe & secure garden is a must,not a communal garden
If you have a holiday planned please state on your application form, along with where Honey would go whilst you are away

Honey has recently been groomed whilst in foster care, when she came to us she had a few tangles.
Her coat is quite short at present ,her new owners will need to keep on top of her grooming needs going forward.
Exercise
Honey is taken out for a walk twice daily, she loves her walks.
She has only been off her lead in a safe and secure area.
Honeys recall needs some working on,would benefit with some training classes, good bonding for all.
We do not advise any new owners of rescue dogs ,to let them off lead until their recall is 100% .
Honey does not pull on her lead, but loose lead training is good to keep practicing.
Interacts ok with other dogs whilst out and about.
General Information
Honey is still a young dog, very energetic, loves to play, may jump up when excited, loves people and her toys.
She is toilet trained but with any new dog coming into a strange environment, please always expect the unexpected.
Honey has slept in her original owners bedroom, whilst in foster she has slept downstairs.
We would advise sleeping in the same room as Honey as she might be out of sorts with another move, she will need some reassurance.
Non destructive in her home
Honey is not crate trained
She travels well in the car,all does should be secured in a car whilst travelling
Honey dislikes the big bad vacuum cleaner
She adores the water
Her favourite pleasure is her toys and her ball
Honey is still very young dog,and loves human company.
She needs a home where her new owners are very fit and active ,with people willing to put the time in to train her and be with her throughout the day.
Honey adores attention and is easily trainable ,if you put in the commitment she needs throughout her life, the rewards will be wonderful for her and for you.
If you live in rented accommodation we will request written confirmation ,that a dog can live in this property.
If you have submitted an application we will be in contact once you see applications closed.
We have not got the resources to answer every message ,but will try our best when we gave time.
