DoodleAid attends The Lord Mayor’s Rural and Seaside Show 2018
DoodleAid attended the The Lord Mayor’s Rural and Seaside Show in Portsmouth over the bank holiday weekend and raised an amazing amount of £336.86. A very big thank you to all our volunteers that came along to help over the three days. Rachel Wicks and family, Eric Hooper and his donation of water bottles to sell, Charley Bednall, Ruth Malone and family, Rhona Mitchell, Julie Neno and her amazing liver cake, Karen McCrindle, Jane Martin and Marion MacDonald with her granddaughter and the wonderful fudge they made to sell.
Also a very big thank you to Carol Plumbly, the dog warden for Portsmouth who donated the pitch for free.
We ran a couple of fun activities, mini agility and the longest sausage catch which proved very popular with our 4 legged friends. Here’s lovely Elle our winner on Saturday looking very chuffed with her prize.
We would also like to thank Fish4Dogs, Skinners Field and Trial for their donation of dog treats and Gilpa for the dog food. Christine Winkless from the Doggie Cookie Comapny for her donation of collars, leads and accessories and Jessica Louise Swadling for the collars and leads.
Lastly and by no means least all our wonderful Doodle volunteers, Kobi, Harley, Alfie, Oscar, Dora, Arthur, Ted, JJ, Molly, Alfie and Bob.
If you’d like to volunteer for our upcoming show Paws in the Park at Ardingly Showground, West Sussex on 19th & 20th May please get in touch via email contact@doodleaid.com.
Thank you
