Amber : Ready to adopt

Location Cheshire Post Code Area SK8 ,the potential applicant will need to travel & will be expected to carry out several meet and greets.

Amber is looking for her forever home due to her current owners finding it difficult to lift Amber, wash her and generally care for her physical needs, especially in the winter.

Such a hard decision for the lovely lady ,but she thinks of Ambers care firstly,before her own.

Before this lady adopted Amber two years ago,Amber was a breeding girl whom had a number of litters.

Both parents I am told have pedigrees and cleared if any genetic diseases.

Amber truly is a sweetie pie,is a sweet natured girl,is loving and can get excited at times.

Looking for a lovely home,where Amber can get lots of fuss and retire and relax ,with like minded folks who will love her as much as her owner.

Folks that are home most of the day as she does enjoy humans loves and cuddles

Amber enjoys being with other dogs,so another dog would be great company for her

Can live with children age 10 plus

No cats

Grooming

Ambers coat is very curly on the legs ,but smoother (still with curl) on the body. Amber has a lovely feathery tail.

She only sheds minimally as all dogs shed some amount.

Likes to be brushed and attends a professional groomers every 6 weeks.

Her groomers states she is a good girl at being groomed.

Exercise

Amber is walked once a day for up to an hour. This usually in a nearby field but sometimes on quiet roads. She also likes a run in the garden.

She is only let off lead in an enclosed area.

Amber's recall is reasonable if she is not distracted and knows she will be rewarded with a treat. However, if she sees a squirrel or a cat, she will chase it and ignore calls to come back.

Amber does not generally pull on the lead but she likes to stop and sniff. If she sees something she wants to chase she will pull in its direction.

She likes to sniff other dogs and then moves on or play.

Amber likes to play with a ball or a toy by throwing it in the air and pouncing. She loves biting and chewing a squeaky toy until it stops squeaking. Amber enjoys running after a ball and will pick it up but instead of bringing it back she prefers to turn it into a game where by chasing her.

General Information

Amber is a very lively dog and loves to be around people. She loves being picked up. She is a very affectionate dog with a lovely nature. She is cuddly.

Never shown any aggressive behaviour just a gentle charming girl.

Amber can be for a few hours if she is first given a treat, told to stay ,and then rewarded when her owner returns.When her owner is out, eg in a coffee shop, she will yelp and try to follow me if I go out of her sight,she truly loves her owner.

Amber will make someone very happy to be their forever companion.

Amber is toilet trained,but like with any dog coming into a new environment ,an accident may or may not occur.

She sleeps on the landing outside her owners bedroom

Never been destructive in her home

She is not crate trained

Travels well on the back seat of the car,in a safety harness

Owners have found nothing she dislikes or is scared of to their knowledge

Amber does not like swimming

Amber is such a great girl ,and deserves a home where people can give her so much love and attention ,that she so deserves.

All potential homes will be subjected to a full vetting and a visual homecheck

If you live in rented accommodation ,we will request documentation that a dog can live in your property.
