All animals are rehomed at our discretion and we reserve the right to decline an application to rehome a dog. Doodle Aid dogs are checked for temperament and we hold health records. This gives us an insight into their character and enables us to make a considered decision as to which type of home would be best for the animal. Once a dog has settled into a new home, their behaviour can sometimes alter. Doodle Aid can only assess an animal on the behaviour it displays while in our care. All Doodle Aid dogs are covered by a contract which must be signed before the rehoming is complete. Any dog that needs to be rehomed after being adopted must be surrendered back to Doodle Aid. A rehomed dog may not be euthanised without consulting Doodle Aid first. The Doodle Aid Rehoming team are able to offer support and behaviour advice to owners of Doodle Aid dogs.
